Antique oil painting - a sunlit study of a white-rendered farmhouse or hamlet with tiled roofs set against steep green hills, loosely and confidently painted. Oil on canvas (unframed, on its stretcher); signed lower left (reads approximately 'Bernard' - to confirm). CONDITION - age-appropriate: unframed with canvas tacks and edge wear, light surface dirt and a few knocks. NOTE - artist not firmly identified; sold as a decorative signed oil. Approx. 10.5 x 14 in. Shown together with a second unframed landscape (Item 31).
