Antique gilt-brass Rococo cartouche ornament - a horizontal cast mount with a central oval cushion boss in a gadrooned frame, flanked by a full-blown rose and bud with leaves on one side and C-scrolls with a shell on the other; vine leaf above and oak leaf with acorn below. Likely a furniture or frame mount. CONDITION - good decorative condition; rich gilding with scattered darkening/verdigris and minor wear. Reverse is hollow/cast with fixing points. NOTE - Rococo-style attribution by style; period and use not confirmed. Dimensions/weight to be confirmed.
