Original 19th-century French Comtoise (Morbier) clock face, offered as decorative architectural salvage. Convex white enamel dial with bold black Roman-numeral hours and a finely scripted inner calendar ring numbered 1-31, crowned by an elaborate repousse gilt-brass crest: a flower-filled basket flanked by acanthus foliage beneath a radiant sunburst rosette with a central mask. Stamped rosette corner mounts. Reverse retains its original patinated iron back plate and dial mount. CONDITION - sold as found: enamel dial has a star crack and crazing from the center arbor, minor chips and wear; gilt-brass crest with scattered verdigris and gilding rubs. No movement, hands, or case - face/front assembly only. NOTE - Comtoise/Morbier attribution and early-mid-19th-c. dating are by style; no maker's signature visible.
