Antique "Memoires de Sully" Leather-Bound Book Set (7 Vols, 18th C.)

Set of antique French leather-bound books - the 'Memoires de Sully' (memoirs of Maximilien de Bethune, Duc de Sully, chief minister to King Henri IV). An 18th-century French-language edition in full mottled-calf bindings with raised bands and hand-inked spine lettering and volume numbers; speckled text-block edges. A title page reads 'MEMOIRES DE SULLY' and the type is period (e.g. 'Livre Trentieme'). Seven volumes present. CONDITION - sold as found, rough/decorative: extensive old worming to leather and boards, cracked and flaking spines, some joints starting / boards loosening, browning, foxing and damp-spotting to pages; collation not verified. Best as decorative antique books or a working set, not a fine collector's copy. NOTE - exact edition, date and whether the seven volumes are consecutive/complete to be confirmed (spine numbers look non-sequential). Count, dimensions and weight to be confirmed.
